Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Shamrock Court. Our goal is simple: to provide a comfortable, well-kept, and memorable stay in a restored historic Route 66 property. To ensure every guest enjoys their experience, the following terms and conditions apply to all reservations and visits. By booking or staying with us, you agree to these policies.

1. Prices, Taxes & Fees

Room rates are subject to applicable Missouri state and local taxes (currently 9.475%). A convenience fee may apply and will be disclosed at the time of booking.

Promotional, group, or special rates may carry different cancellation terms, which will be disclosed at the time of booking.

2. Payment, Check-In & Check-Out

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Base Rate Cancellation Policy:
Reservations are 100% refundable if cancelled 14 or more days before the scheduled check-in date.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Date changes within 14 days may be permitted but remain non-refundable.

Check-In: 3:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM

A valid, bank-issued credit card must remain on file. Government-issued photo ID is required and will be verified during digital check-in.

3. Occupancy Limits

The number of guests per room shall not exceed the posted maximum occupancy for that room. Exceeding occupancy limits may result in additional charges or immediate termination of the stay without refund.

4. Traveling with Minors

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to book a room.

Minors must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times, including in all public areas. The registered adult guest accepts full financial responsibility for the actions and any damages caused by minors in their party.

5. Local Area Guest Policy

The following conditions apply to guests residing within approximately 50 miles of Shamrock Court.

  • A valid, bank-issued credit card in the name of the registered guest is required. Prepaid or reloadable cards are not accepted.

  • A $250 refundable damage deposit will be authorized at check-in.

  • The deposit will be refunded after checkout once the room has been inspected for damages. Shamrock Court cannot control the timing of your bank’s release of funds.

  • Government-issued photo identification is required for all adult guests during digital check-in.

  • License plate registration is required for all overnight guest vehicles.

  • The number of guests may not exceed the posted room occupancy.

  • No unregistered guests or vehicles are permitted on property.

  • Gatherings or parties are not permitted unless pre-approved in writing.

Damages, disturbances, smoking violations, occupancy violations, or unauthorized guests may result in forfeiture of the deposit, additional charges, and immediate removal from the property without refund.

Shamrock Court reserves the right to decline or cancel local reservations at its discretion.

6. Accessibility & Historic Property Notice

Shamrock Court is a restored historic property. Due to its age and original stone construction, certain areas may include uneven surfaces, elevation changes, stone steps, or features not typical of modern construction.

One accessible room is available; however, the property is not fully ADA compliant.

7. Parking

Parking is complimentary and first-come, first-served.

During gift shop operating hours, parking is available for retail customers. After office hours, parking is limited to registered overnight guest vehicles only.

License plate registration is required for overnight guests. Unregistered vehicles remaining after office hours may be subject to removal at the owner’s expense.

No RV hookups are available.

8. Events, Gatherings & Group Bookings

Gatherings are permitted only with prior written approval and may require additional terms and deposits.

Group bookings must be arranged directly with hotel management and are subject to separate rates, deposits, and cancellation policies.

Only registered overnight guests are permitted on property unless pre-approved by management.

Unregistered guests or vehicles may result in immediate removal from property and a $200 fee.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Violations may result in removal from the property without refund and/or involvement of local authorities.

Commercial photography or filming requires prior approval.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from a stay at Shamrock Court shall first be submitted to mediation. If unresolved, disputes shall be handled in Crawford County, Missouri. The prevailing party may recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs as permitted by law.

10. Use of Personal Information

Shamrock Court collects guest contact information for reservation processing, communication, and optional marketing purposes. Guest information is never sold or shared with third parties except as required to process reservations or as required by law. Marketing communications are opt-in.

11. Liability

Guests stay at their own risk. Shamrock Court is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal property.

To the fullest extent permitted by Missouri law, liability for any claim arising from a stay shall not exceed the total amount paid for the reservation.

Guests acknowledge the historic nature of the property and accept the inherent characteristics of a restored property.

12. Damage, Security Deposit & Cleaning Policy

The registered guest authorizes Shamrock Court to charge the credit card on file for any damages caused by guests, minors, or unauthorized individuals.

Certain themed rooms require a $250 refundable security deposit, which will be authorized prior to or at check-in. The deposit will be released after checkout once the room has been inspected and no damage, policy violations, or excessive cleaning needs are identified. Shamrock Court cannot control the timing of your bank’s release of funds.

Excessive cleaning fee: Minimum $250, increasing based on labor and materials required.

Guests are financially responsible for all damages beyond normal wear and tear.

13. Non-Smoking Policy

Shamrock Court is 100% smoke-free. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping, marijuana, and any other inhaled substances.

Violation fees begin at $250 and may increase based on remediation costs required to remove odor or damage.

14. Pet & Service Animal Policy

No pets are permitted.

Service dogs, as defined by law, are welcome under the following conditions:

  • The dog must remain under the handler’s control at all times.

  • The dog may not be left unattended in the room or anywhere on property.

  • The handler is responsible for any damage or disturbance.

If a guest misrepresents a pet as a service animal, Shamrock Court reserves the right to:

  • Charge for damages and cleaning

  • Report fraudulent claims to appropriate authorities

  • Remove the guest from property without refund

If an animal is left unattended, Shamrock Court reserves the right to enter the room, remove the animal, and turn it over to local authorities as abandoned.

15. Force Majeure

Shamrock Court is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather events, power outages, natural disasters, or government actions. In such cases, management may offer to move reservations to a future date at its discretion.

16. Third Party Rights

These terms apply solely to the registered guest and Shamrock Court and do not confer rights upon third parties.

17. Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce such provision in the future.

18. Severability

If any portion of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. SMS & Text Messaging Privacy

Guests may receive reservation updates and optional marketing communications via SMS through Cloudbeds. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Guests may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
